THE QUIET PLACE

Do you need somewhere quiet to pray?
Do you need to take time out from your busy schedule?
Would you just like somewhere quiet for a while?

The Quiet Place is a section of our hall that is set aside for just this purpose. You can come and sit in a comfortable chair and pray. You read a book or magazine from our library. Or you can just sit quietly in the presence of the Lord.

Unless you ask us to pray with you, we will not bother you, and there is no cost or obligation at all.

We do ask that you observe a few simple conditions:

* This place is dedicated to the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please do not do anything here which would dishonour Him.

* Please respect any other people that are using The Quiet Place, and don't disturb them.

* Please treat the property with the respect you would have for the home of a friend you were visiting.

The Quiet Place is open Mondays and Tuesdays from 1pm to 5pm, and Wednesdays from 9.30am to 1pm.

There is one God, and one mediator between God and people, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) in Whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9) and Whom God the Father has exalted to the highest place, giving Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
