Australian Network
Glory to the King Apostolic Network has been operating for six years, and has affiliated ministers in 20 different countries throughout Africa and Asia. We want Aussies to know that they can be part of this network too.
The driving principle behind the Apostolic Network is that of family. We know what it is like to be part of an organization in which you are nothing more than a name on a roll, and from which you only hear when they want money, and we have no desire to be an organization like that. Rather, we want to be a family, in which everyone is important, and where communication is a two-way street.
In Glory to the King Apostolic Network, every affiliated minister has access to the leadership; everyone can submit prayer needs or praise reports to be sent out in our Glory News email newsletter; everyone can submit posts to go on the blog on this site. We also have a password-protected area where we provide special resources for affiliated members only, and where we post the contact details of members so that you can relate to each other as well as to the leadership. We encourage affiliated ministers to join with others in their area for prayer and fellowship, and to minister together.
We want to get to know you, to understand the particular challenges you face and to be able to stand with you. There is even more opportunity for this here is Australia than overseas, simply because the cost of travel within Australia is so much less than that of international travel.
We won’t judge you by numbers. We understand that God’s definition of success is vastly different from man’s, and that sometimes faithfulness counts for far more than outward results. As part of the application process, we ask how many are in your church, but this is only so that we can know how to pray – the needs of small churches are very different from those of large churches. If you are called of God, we believe you are “significant”, regardless of how big or small your church or ministry may be.
We do not try to control your ministry. You continue to operate your church or ministry as led by the Lord – the only time we will step in is if we become aware of something that is bringing disrepute to the Lord Jesus Christ or to GTKMI.
You are not becoming part of a denomination. In fact, many of our affiliated ministers belong to other denominations (in a couple of cases are leaders of the denomination in their area.) This does not bother us, as long as the denomination is happy for them to be part of GTK.
We do not ask for your money. Of course, if someone wants to support us financially, we will gratefully accept it, but we do not have annual dues or the like. We believe that family and fellowship should not be for sale, and we cringe when we observe leaders who chase after the “highest bidder.”
If all this sounds like just what you want, please contact us and we will tell you how to begin the application process.
