WHAT IS AN APOSTOLIC NETWORK?

An apostolic network is a group of individual ministers who relate to someone who stands in the Apostolic Office. Unlike the denominational system, where someone can be part of an organization which knows nothing about them or their ministry, an Apostolic Network functions as a family. The Apostle stands as the Father or Mother of the family, and the members of the network relate to him or her as sons and daughters. In a good Apostolic Network, the Apostle will have a genuine interest in and concern for those who are part of the network, and will encourage them also to relate to each other as brothers and sisters, to encourage and pray for each other, and where possible to join together in the work of the Kingdom. The Apostle will also seek, as far as is possible, to give personal encouragement and support to the members of the network, to mentor them and develop their gifts, and to be available to respond to prayer requests and questions.

The Apostle also provides APOSTOLIC COVERING for the network. This means that the Apostle exercises a spiritual authority over the network through prayer and spiritual warfare, and thus is able to give protection from some of the spiritual attack which ministers can face when they do not have such covering. It does not mean that the Apostle should try to control those who are part of the network, however there may be times when correction and discipline are necessary. This is in itself a form of protection, as it provides an accountability for those who are part of the network.

Because of these things, we at Glory to the King Apostolic Network want to get to know those who are affiliated with us. We are not interested in becoming just another organization, and if your only interest is in being part of an organization then we would strongly suggest that you approach one of the many good groups that are active in the Body of Christ. However, if you want relationship, if you want to be part of a family, then we believe we have something to offer, and we invite you to pray about joining us.
